Q: What do I need to know before I come in?
A: Auto parts are not one-size-fits-all. Even if you have a general idea of what you want--for example, replacement windshield wipers--you might not know the specific part number for your car, truck, or SUV. Our factory-trained service technicians will help you find the specific part you're looking for. Most of the time, all they will need to know is your car's year, make, and model, and what kind of engine and transmission it has. So, for example, a 1999 Toyota Camry LE automatic with a 4-cylinder engine.
The best piece of information you can have is your car's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). The VIN identifies your car individually, and includes information about its trimline, options, manufacturing date, and where it was built. This is especially important with Toyotas, because the same make and model might use different parts depending on whether it was built in Japan or in the United States. You can find the VIN on a sticker on the driver's side front door or doorjamb, as well as a plate on the bottom of the windshield on the driver's side (the plate is actually located on the dashboard, but it's visible through the windshield.)
Q: I like to work on my own car. Do you sell the parts I need?
A: Yes, we carry the full line of Toyota parts and if we don't have the part you're looking for in stock, we can order it for you.
Q: What brands do you carry?
A: We carry parts for all makes and models of Toyotas.
Q: Do you sell used parts?
A: No. Elmore Toyota only sells Toyota and TRD licensed OEM parts and Toyota-recommended products. However, we offer a wide variety of OEM and Toyota-recommended accessories and options.
Q: What does "OEM" mean?
A: OEM stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer." OEM equipment means that it is the 'official' part used by the factory when they manufacture a vehicle.
Q: Why should I pay more for OEM parts and equipment?
A: OEM parts and equipment are designed to interact with your vehicle and have been specifically manufactured for their purpose to achieve perfect functionality as well as fit and finish. OEM parts have met Toyota's vigorous engineering and testing standards and are covered by Toyota's factory warranty. Using only OEM parts and equipment preserves the resale value of your vehicle and can extend its life as well.
Q: Do you carry parts for older cars and trucks?
A: We do carry parts for older vehicles. Please let us know what you're looking for and we will see if it is still available. Some parts may be out of production, depending on how old your vehicle is.
Q: Can you help me upgrade my vehicle?

Q: Do you sell Toyota apparel and non-vehicular accessories (keychains, etc.?)
A: Yes, we have a selection of Toyota apparel and accessories such as hats, shirts and jackets. We also carry other accessories for your car, truck, or SUV such as window shades, seat covers, die-cast models, remote-control cars, and even tool kits. Q: Do you sell Lexus parts?
A: Unfortunately, we do not stock Lexus parts.
Q: Do you sell rubber all-weather floor mats?
A: Due to legal issues relating to product recalls, we cannot sell Toyota rubber all-weather floor mats at this time.
